Alternate Investment

The term ‘alternative investments’ can be generally associated with anything outside of traditional investments. ‘Alternative Investment Funds’ means any fund set up under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 and acts as a privately pooled investment vehicle which collects funds from investors, for investing it in conformity with a defined investment policy. Depending on their investment strategy and the type of assets under management, Alternative Investment Funds could be of many types.
